At the start of the session, the CoolSculpting applicator’s suction will pull at the treatment area, causing a tugging sensation. For the first few minutes, the area will grow colder and colder until it becomes numb.
While some patients may find the tugging and cold a little uncomfortable or odd, these sensations only last until the area goes numb. Even before, CoolSculpting should not cause pain or serious discomfort.
